Paratunka is a known area of Kamchatka, where there are motels, homes and recreation centers, swimming pools. Paratunka is a popular holiday destination of the townspeople.
There are several groups of hot springs in the valley of the river Paratunka. Near the village Paratunka located Lower Paratunskiye springs. 6 km away from them, on an island formed by channels Left and Right Paratunka located Mid-Paratunskiye, and 14 km away from those — Upper Paratunskiye springs.
All these springs are the result of crustal faults along which lie the valley of Paratunka. Rift allowed deep hot waters come to the surface. As a result of drilling at a depth of several hundred meters wide was discovered hydrothermal pool. Below Paratunka located a lake Utinoe. It keeps inexhaustible supplies of mud.
