TOUR PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival in Kamchatka
Meeting at the airport Yelizovo. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (40 min). Accommodation at the hotel. Sightseeing tour (by request of tourists).
Day 2: Transfer to the airport Avachinsky. Helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers and the caldera of the volcano Uzon (total duration of 7 hours) with the flight near the Karymsky volcano and crater lake volcano Small Semyachik. Hiking to the Geysers (2 miles, 2 hours) and mud pots (1 km, 1 hour).. On the way back, landing on the river. Zhupanova – you will have lunch and bathing in hot springs. Return to the hotel.
Day 3: Kozyrevsk
Departure from the city by car in Kozyrevsk village (500 km, 10 hours). By the way stop in the village Milkovo (lunch in the cafe). Ferry across the river Kamchatka. Accommodation in private hotel.
Day 4:
Departure by car to Tolbachinsky dale (80 km, 4 hours). Panorama of the Klyuchevskaya volcano group. The path runs through the magnificent coniferous forest, lava flows, wade across the river Tolbachik. Departure by car to northern cones of Tolbachinsky fissure eruption of 1975 (radial route with climbing and exploring the crater of a volcanic cone, where until now there is a manifestation of volcanic activity) (5 hours). Returning to base camp.
Day 5: Climbing Volcano Flat Tolbachik.
Departure at the foot of the volcano Flat Tolbachik. Climbing the volcano Flat Tolbachik (3085 m), 7-8 hours. Sightseeing of the crater. Flat Tolbachik differs vast area apex, which is occupied by a shallow caldera diameter of 3.7 km, filled with ice. There is an active crater in its western part. The depth of the crater is about 500 meters, a diameter is of about 1700m. There is a panoramic view from the top of volcanoes of Klyuchevskaya group and more distant, chains and a group of fifty of cinder cones, densely dotted with a portion of the southern slope. There occurred the famous Big Tolbachinsky fissure eruption of 1975-1976 years. Lunch. Returning to base camp.
Day 6:
Departure by car to the tract of «dead wood» (15 km, 1 hr.). Radial pedestrian route to the southern cones and lava flows Tolbachinsky eruption in 1976 with the ascent of the volcanic cone (16 km, 6 hours). Departure to Kozyrevsk. Accommodation in a private hotel (80 km, 4 hours). Bath.
Day 7:
Departure to the national settlement Anavgai (140 km, 4 hours). Tour of the evens camp «Menedek», rite of purification, herbal tea.
Transfer to Esso. Accommodation in a private hotel with thermal pool. Rest.
Day 8:
Visit Bystrinsky Ethnographic Museum.
Drive to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (550 km, 10 hours). Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 9: Excursion to the Kuril lake. Watching bears.
Transfer to the airport Avachinsky. Helicopter excursion to the Kurile Lake (7:00). Watching a brown bear and salmon spawning.
On the way back — landing in the caldera Ksudach (a walk to the crater Shtubel) and Khodutkinskie Hot Springs (dinner, bathing).
Transfer to the hotel.
Day 10: Climbing the Volcano Gorely (1829 m)
Departure at the foot of Gorely (110 km, 3,5 hours). Climbing to craters Gorely (800 m> 1829 m, 6 miles, 4-5 hours).
Day 11: Excursion to the crater of the volcano Mutnovsky.
Climbing to the crater of a volcano Mutnovsky (900 m> 1560 m, 28 km, 10 hours). Walking tour to the fumarole fields, mud pots, crater lake and an active crater. Return to the campground.
Departure by car to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 12: Boat trip on the Avachinskaya bay to the island Starichkov.
Transfer to the pier. Sea voyage to Avachinskaya bay to the rocks «Three Brothers» with access to the Pacific Ocean. Bird Bazaar, sea fishing, fish soup (5:00). Visit the fish market, gift shops.
Day 13:
Transfer to the airport. Departure.
