The Group delivered by helicopter (15 — 20 minutes) to pass between the volcano Avachinsky and hill Uglovaya at an altitude of 2,240 m. From here the group walking up to the crater of a volcano (1 hour). Sightseeieng the crater (1 hour). Returning to the helicopter and fly to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Avachinsky volcano is the current, difficult built beautiful volcano type Somma-Vesuvius, with a perfect regular cone height of 2,751 above sea level. At the top of the cone was a crater with a diameter of 350 m and a depth of 220 m, but in 1991 during the eruption crater crater filled with lava in various parts of which are now active fumaroles, precipitated sulfur.
There is a beautiful view from the top of volcano.
